Converting questions
How do I convert a PDF to JPG?
Drop the PDF in and every page is rendered as a JPEG at the resolution you choose — 72 dpi for thumbnails, 144 dpi as the default, 216 dpi for print-like detail. Pages download individually or together as one ZIP.
Does converting a PDF to JPG reduce the file size?
It changes the format, not the size. The output can be larger than the PDF, because every page becomes a full image. If you need a smaller file, compress the PDF instead.
Can I choose the image resolution?
Yes — 72, 144 or 216 dpi. A higher resolution gives sharper pages and noticeably bigger files, so pick the lowest one that stays readable for your purpose.
Can I convert a password-protected PDF?
Not directly. Encrypted files are not supported here, so unlock the PDF first and then convert the pages you need.
Turning pages into images, at your resolution
Each page is rendered locally — through the same PDF engine the whole suite uses — and saved as a JPG at the resolution you choose: 72 dpi for thumbnails, 144 dpi as the balanced default, or 216 dpi when a form wants print-like detail. Every page downloads individually or all at once as a ZIP, with all conversions done in the tab.
Conversion is the right move when a portal or contact asks for images, not documents. If what you need is a smaller document instead, the PDF compressor is the honest path, and signing or page extraction keep the document a document. The full suite is in the PDF tools hub.
