Seven PDF tools, nothing uploaded

Compression, structural edits, security and signing — a full suite that runs entirely on your device. Every result is measured from the real output file, and every limitation is stated plainly in the result card.

PDF tools questions

Which PDF tools are available here?

Seven: compress to a KB target, merge, split and extract pages, add an AES-256 password, remove a password you know, export pages as JPG images, and sign with a drawn signature. Each one runs entirely in your browser.

Are my PDFs uploaded when I use these tools?

No. Page operations, encryption and signing all run as JavaScript on the page, so the document stays on your device — and the tools keep working offline once the page has loaded.

Which of these tools reduces a PDF file size?

Only the compressor changes bytes: it re-encodes pages as images towards a target size and reports honestly when a cap cannot be met. Merge, split, unlock and sign change structure or encryption and leave the file size alone.

Do the PDF tools work on a phone or a Mac?

Yes. Everything runs in a modern browser, so the same workflow works on an iPhone, an Android phone or a Mac — with no app to install and no upload to wait for.

How the suite treats your files

Structural tools (merge, split, unlock, sign) are lossless — pages, fonts and vectors are copied, never re-encoded. Compression is the one place a PDF genuinely changes format: pages are rasterised, which is why it shines for scanned documents and gets a frank explanation for digital text PDFs (details here).

Protected files are decrypted and re-locked only between your device and the output — passwords are never stored, logged or transmitted. Compressing images instead? Start at the image tools hub.
